New Atheism

New atheism is not only the statement of not believing in a god, but also the statement that religion should be challenged in some way.

Notes:

1. The degree to which religion should be challenged varies from person to person.
2. The degree of passiveness also varies. Some state that religion should be actively challenged, in other words, it should be sought out. Others state that religion should be passively challenged; it should be challenged only when it appears.
3. New atheism is widely seen as a philosophical movement.
